Seen them practicing at RAF Uxbridge, wide smiles and really damn good. But also damn good fighting soldiers as has been proved in theatre.

During the Second World War, my Uncle served in the RAF flying Lancasters, my father in the Army in the Tank Regiment and my other uncle in Submarines - and if they hadn't... I would not be alive now. Thank you to all in our armed forces.

I did my All arms drill course with the DI for the QCS 25 years ago, hell of a nice guy and even taught the guards how to teach fix bayonets on the march!! Pissed the permanent staff right off, never forgot it

Playing the "Eagle Squadron" my Dad was in the first squadron put together , Americans and a few Canucks and others formed to help the RAF during the Battle of Britain before American entered the war.

Wasn't it a great drill? I bet you hold your father in very esteem. I salute all of our armed forces. They are made of steel.
